Remember Y2K? Doomsayers proclaimed that computers would go on the fritz at the stroke of midnight, erasing data and firing nuclear missiles and such. Of course no serious problems occurred, but Y2K6 may be a different matter to gamers. Major Nelson, Microsoft's Xbox Live Director of Programming, informed the masses via his blog that the company is aware of issues related to Xbox 360 Live leaderboards and stats, and the bug is being resolved. The Major reports that most of the leaderboards have been restored, with the exception of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. The problem did not appear to affect the Live service of the original Xbox.
