COVID-19 has once again spread among WWE's pool of trainees and rising stars. FWOnline is reporting that there has been another outbreak in WWE, this time originating from their Performance Center.
Immediate details are not known other than it happened on Friday. The attendees who were there, regardless if they tested positive or negative, were asked to quarantine for two weeks due to contact tracing.
Reportedly the outbreak has included people scheduled for Wednesday's NXT's Halloween Havoc and some matches are going to have to be changed. That's not the only recent brush with COVID-19. In recent weeks, the Department of Health has been investigating the WWE Performance Center, Full Sail University, and Amway Arena as COVID-19 hotspots.
Back over the summer, an outbreak affected several members of WWE talent including backstage correspondent Kayla Braxton, producer Adam Pearce, and former host Renee Young.
WWE had scheduled to be 100 fans at the upcoming tapings. Attendees were scheduled to be tested for COVID-19 in Winter Park, FL--the night prior to the event. It is unsure now if that is still the plan.
Gamespot has reached out to WWE for comment.
