Electronic Arts announced Tuesday that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Westwood Studios. The cash value of the transaction was US$122.5 million.
With the acquisition, Westwood becomes EA's tenth entertainment studio. Westwood was founded in 1985 by Brett Sperry and Louis Castle, both of whom have signed five-year employment contracts and will remain with the company.
