Sierra has announced that it is now accepting applicants to the Tribes 2 public beta. The testing process will begin next month and is one step towards the game's release later this fall. Tribes 2 maintains the gameplay feel and team focus found in Starsiege Tribes, and brings an impressive graphics update, new equipment, and an improved command interface.
From the ten day application process, Sierra will select 1000 testers based on applicants' PC systems and a short essay explanation as to why they should be included in the beta. Sierra wants to include gamers of all experience levels as well as a number of international testers. Go to the GameSpot Beta Center to sign up.
