French publisher Titus Interactive announced through an official statement on Wednesday that it is currently in negotiations with an unnamed third party to sell its 34 percent share in Interplay. The company said that negotiations are currently under way and a final resolution could involve something other than an outright sale of its shares, depending on the company's strategic interest.
Interplay announced last week that it is currently in talks aimed at selling the company, but it declined to name the interested party. Since that time, Chinese telecommunications firm Pacific Century Cyber Works has been named as a potential suitor. GameSpot will have more as it becomes available.
