Bethesda has announced the winner of its "Million Reasons To Play" campaign for The Elder Scrolls Online, a promotion where the company offered $1 million to anyone just for logging into the game. The winner, Ryan Rager, is a 30-year-old from Costa, Mesa, Calif. For a chance to win, all you had to do was log into the game anytime from December 3, 2015 to January 10, 2016.

　　"Never in a million years, no pun intended," Rager said with a laugh in a new interview with Bethesda. "But I was playing every chance I could at the time and thought, Why not give it a go?"

　　Rager says he is a fan of the Elder Scrolls series but is a relative newcomer The Elder Scrolls Online. He bought an Xbox One last October as a gift to himself and The Elder Scrolls Online was his first purchase.

　　By day, Rager is a service technician for a custom home theater and smart home company. He hasn't yet decided on a primary character for Elder Scrolls Online, but right now he's playing as a Dark Elf Dragonknight.

　　RagerRager has been engaged for four years, citing the cost of getting married as the main reasons for the lengthy engagement. Now that he has some extra money in his pocket, he and his fiancee plan to finally tie the knot this year.

　　"We now can say this year is the year. It's very exciting," he said, adding that the couple plans to go on a nice honeymoon and buy a new TV.
