The Walking Dead is coming to Disney+ in the UK. All 10 seasons so far will hit the service on July 2, with Season 11 premiering on the service in the UK in August.

　　The hugely popular zombie show will be available to stream on the Star hub, which contains more mature content that the main family-friendly Disney+ platform. Star is available in a number of countries outside the US.

　　There have been 153 episodes of The Walking Dead across 10 seasons so far, and Season 11 premieres on August 22. While this will be the final season, it will be the longest to date, with 24 episodes released in three eight-episode blocks over 2021 and 2022.

　　The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US, but it is syndicated worldwide by Fox Networks Group, which is owned by Disney. The show was previously broadcast in the UK on Fox UK. However, it was reported this week that Disney is closing the channel down and moving its shows over to Disney+. Other Fox series that will made be available on Disney+ in the UK include American Horror Story and The War of the Worlds.

　　Even though the main show is ending, there's plenty more Walking Dead on the way. Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will reprise their long-running roles Daryl and Carol for a spin-off series, while Andrew Lincoln will return to the franchise for the Rick Grimes movies. There's also an anthology show titled Tales of the Walking Dead in the works.
