THQ has announced plans to develop another new game starring the popular Nickelodeon cartoon character Jimmy Neutron.
The new game, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius: Attack of the Twonkies, is a budget-priced game with a focus on creating wacky inventions from household items. Collecting these items will allow you to create 28 smaller gizmos, 11 full-fledged inventions, and four superinventions. Details on what sort of inventions will be in the game aren't available at this time, but it's expected that you'll use these crafted devices to take on the insidious aliens of Twonkus-3, a comet that flies over Neutron's hometown of Retroville every year.
Both games will fall into the action category, with the console versions taking on a third-person, behind-the-back viewpoint, while the GBA version will deliver 2D side-scrolling action.
The game is based on an upcoming TV movie that will be aired in November. THQ's game will hit the PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Game Boy Advance this fall.
