Dynamix announced Wednesday the planned October release of Starsiege: Rebellion, a tabletop miniature game based on the upcoming Starsiege title for the PC.
Starsiege: Rebellion will include a rule book, data cards, scenario cards, vacuum-formed terrain, and 18 sculpted pewter miniatures of Hercs and tanks that will feature interchangeable weapons, all for a measly US$60. Additional miniatures will be available in blisterpacks between US$7 and $26 for each package.
The new tabletop game is touted to be the first ever conversion from the PC to the tabletop. The tabletop game is due out from Agents of Gaming in October with the PC version of the game showing up in November.
"Everything that Starsiege represents is incorporated in such a way as to make even the most hard-core fan come to the table. Yet it also gives those who have never laid eyes on the computer version of Starsiege something to fall in love with," said Jeff Tunnell, executive producer of Starsiege and cofounder of Dynamix. "This will definitely give players a new and unique way to interact with the Starsiege universe."
