While there's no shortage of Marvel Cinematic Universe movies on the way over the next few years, the studio is increasingly focusing on its Disney+ output as well. There are numerous Marvel shows in various stages of development, and one of these is a Moon Knight series. It's now been reported that Oscar Isaac is in talks to star.
According to Variety, Isaac could potentially take on the title role in the Moon Knight show. Isaac is best known for playing Poe Dameron in the recent Star Wars movies and will appear in the upcoming adaptation of Dune. He also starred as the villainous Apocalypse in 2017's X-Men: Apocalypse.

Now Playing: 8 Marvel Theories For WandaVision, Falcon And Winter Soldier, Loki
The Moon Knight series was first announced in August 2019 at Disney's D23 expo, where a logo was also revealed. The character is a crime-fighting mercenary and the alter ego of boxer-turned-soldier Marc Spector. He first appeared in the Marvel comic book Werewolf by Night in 1975, before getting his own title. No further details about the series have been revealed yet.
The first Disney+ Marvel show will be WandaVision, and that's set to arrive later this year. It stars Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen as Vision and the Scarlet Witch, and the recent trailer suggests it will be distinctly different to other superhero shows.
Other upcoming MCU Disney+ series include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which Disney+ recently confirmed will arrive in 2021, plus Loki, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel.
