After incredible success early on in the year with both Lee 'INnoVation' Shin Hyung Lee the WCS Season 1 Championship as well as the organisation winning the 2012-2013 Proleague, the team's main sponsor STX cut the support for the team. Following this decision, the players who weren't able to find new teams and weren't ready to retire became part of team SouL who, according to Head Coach Kim, started the team with the intent to let the players branch out and find new teams. Following today's announcement, it seems like the team has completed their end of the bargain and will be closing shop effective immediately.
SouL had a less than stellar GSTL run, where they finished in last place with a total score of 2-6. With only four teams remaining, it's uncertain as to how the next season will function, if it even materializes.
