Sony is preparing to make an "exciting announcement" about its PlayStation-exclusive Little Big Planet franchise, the company’s official Twitter account (via Gematsu) has revealed.
"There's no weekly LBP Update today but stay tuned to the @PlayStation Blog because we have an exciting announcement coming tomorrow instead!," it said.
In February this year, a report surfaced, suggesting that a new game in the hit creation series was in development. British studio Sumo Digital was allegedly at the helm, with the team previously responsible for Dead Space Ignition, fitness game Nike+ Kinect Training, and Little Big Planet 2's cross-controller patch, which allowed players to use a PlayStation Vita to control the main game on the PlayStation 3.
