With the alleged departures of Todd Porter and Jerry O'Flaherty from ION Storm expected to be officially announced on Friday, gamers have been buzzing. GameSpot guest columnists (and game-industry funnymen) at Old Man Murray have come up with a contest to pass the time until either ION Storm or Eidos Interactive makes the official announcement regarding the duo's departure.

　　The contest is simple: Two lucky winners will receive an Intensor gaming chair and a copy of either Rollercoaster Tycoon or High Heat Baseball. Winners will write an official sounding press release or a completely unofficial-type release. Entries must be less than 300 words and contestants can submit as many entries as possible.

　　The official closing of the contest will be the day the official release is issued to the press - sources say that release show head out on Friday, May 28. If the rumors of Porter and O'Flaherty's departure turn out to be false, the contest will end on Monday, May 31. Would-be press-release writers should send their entries to [email protected].

　　Once the official press release is issued to the media, we'll report on what both companies announce.
