London, England - SimCity 3000 master planner (and Maxis cofounder) Will Wright has something up his sleeve.According to a Maxis insider, the man behind the impressive SimCity franchise has a Sim-related project already working - taking advantage of a brand-new engine, no less.
It's "Sim-related," but that's about all our source will say. The source added that there are two additional teams working on Sim projects - including a multiplayer skew (nothing like the sales-starved SimCity Network edition of yore, however).
In related news, Sim City 3000 is close to alpha and still on line for a late '98 release.
