Sigma.int, who got a last minute invitation to the Major League Gaming Championship after Dignitas' Dota squad disbanded, continues to surprise fans here in Columbus as they take two convincing wins over Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses.

Hey guys remember when you yelled at me in all caps that Sigma wouldn't win any games? *crickets*

Sigma.int versus Team Liquid

The day's opening game had Sigma.int putting on another clinic as they rolled over Team Liquid. I, unfortunately, missed a lot of the details as the game crept on due to the need to film something, but even when I checked out at the ten minute mark it was very apparent that Sigma.int was in the driver's seat.

Sigma.int Bans: Nature's Prophet, Elder Titan, Storm Spirit, Chen, Razer

Sigma.int Picks: Mirana, Bane, Windranger, Shadow Fiend, Lifestealer

Team Liquid Bans: Venomancer, Lich, Outworld Devourer, Abaddon, Clockwork

Team Liquid Picks: Visage, Timbersaw, Crystal Maiden, Lone Druid, Nightstalker

Sigma.int versus Evil Geniuses

Sigma.int's second match would play out very similarly to their first, with the Europeans holding a commanding lead for the majority of the match. While I think everyone on Sigma.int played very well, the player that almost everyone will call the MVP from this match is Adrian 'FATA-' Trinks. Trinks was able to get a quick Dagon 5, and spent the most of the game being an absolute menace with the amount of burst he was capable of.

Evil Geniuses' final rally, spurned on by Clinton 'Fear' Loomis' Rapier equipped Gyrocopter, would fall short in the Rosh pit. Despite getting a fairly easy kill on Titouan 'Sockshka' Merloz's Lifestealer just moments before, the North American squad was easily dispatched by the four remaining Sigma.int heroes.

Sigma.int Bans: Nature's Prophet, Earth Shaker, Weaver, Alchemist, Magnus

Sigma.int Picks: Venomancer, Bane, Lifestealer, Puck, Treant Protector

Evil Geniuses Bans: Lich, Mirana, Shadowfiend, Outworld Devourer, Juggernau

Evil Geniuses Picks: Visage, Clockwork, Rubick, Gyrocopter, Timbersaw
