Shrapnel Games has announced the release of The War Engine, its wargame construction kit. The game includes a game editor that lets players build a variety of different strategy games by defining the rules and units involved. In addition, The War Engine comes with seven prebuilt games including sci-fi squad-based tactical wargames, World War II strategic wargames, a medieval fantasy wargame, and even a paintball game.
