After LucasArts released the classic PC graphic adventure Sam & Max Hit the Road in 1993, 13 years passed before the dog-and-rabbit detective team graced the world of gaming once more in Telltale Games' Sam & Max Episode 1: Culture Shock. The wait for more of the unorthodox sleuths' oddball antics won't be nearly as long this time, as Telltale Games has announced that Sam & Max Episode 2: Situation: Comedy will arrive later this month.
Situation: Comedy will premiere on the subscription-based rental service GameTap December 21, and become available for purchase from Telltale Games' official site January 5. Telltale will sell each individual episode for $8.95 on its own, or the first "season" of the series (Episode 1 through Episode 6) as a package for $34.95.
