Sandbox Studios announced Friday the Sandbox Studios Partners Program, a development partnership that allows Sandbox to work with developers to publish games in short periods of time.

　　Once an art design is approved by Sandbox officials, Sandbox will then take the game's design document and art, create a new game using its own proprietary graphics engine, develop custom sounds and music, and seek a publishing deal on the market. Sandbox will then return 20 percent of the royalties on the game's sales to the developer.

　　"There has never before been a program such as this in the entertainment software industry," said Steve Bergenholtz, president and founder of Sandbox Studios. "It's simple and straightforward. You give us the art for your game, and we put it together for you in a matter of weeks. Then you get a 20 percent share. No other company can do what we do because they don't have the technology that makes our development process so fast and efficient. Our veteran staff is one of the few teams capable of pulling it off successfully."
