For The King, a rogue-like RPG adventure game crowdfunded via Kickstarter in October 2015, will fully launch in early April for PC and in early 2019 for consoles (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch). Canadian developer IronOak Games, formed in 2015 by industry veterans with experience on titles such as Need for Speed, Dead Rising and Sleeping Dogs, signed a publishing deal with Curve Digital.
Colby Young, Game Designer of IronOak Games, said:
For The King is a passion project for us and very much an homage to the RPG genre. Early Access has been great for the game, allowing us to listen to fans and make the game as strong, polished and fun as possible. Now with its full release and our new publishing deal with Curve, we can’t wait for more players to experience For The King.
For The King has been available via Steam Early Access since late February 2017. User reviews are very positive with an overall 85% rating.
