GameSpot and Rentrak Corporation announced a partnership that sees the two companies leverage the strengths of each one's game tracking services.
Under the terms of the deal, the GameSpot will provide data from GameSpot Trax, GameSpot's advanced tool for monitoring consumer demand, purchase intent, and post-purchase feedback for games, and combine it with Rentrak's actual game rental figures.
The alliance enables GameSpot and Rentrak to integrate each others data into their respective services, providing more depth and insight for their customers in the game publishing and marketing industries.
