Video gaming is an expensive hobby, no doubt, but is it worth stealing for?
In Japan, Tokyo police apprehended a group of teen purse-snatchers on Monday that had committed over 100 robberies, Reuters reported. The group of 12 ranged in age from 10 to 17 and attacked senior citizens. The group reportedly took in about US$15,500 in total as a result of their heists.
The gamers then used the money to play arcade games, according to the members of the group.
Only five of the 12 will be charged, as the rest are considered minors (under 14 years of age) and not subject to prosecution.
