Psygnosis plans to enter the golf sim arena. Its first effort to this end - Pro 18: World Tour Golf -will be released in November for PCs and PlayStation platforms. Psygnosis plans to release "data disks" and other stand-alone titles as well.
Tom Lehman, Colin Montgomerie, Dottie Pepper, Laura Davies, and Mark O'Meara are among the duffers who have been filmed and motion-captured for use in the series. Pro 18 will feature three courses - Royal County Down in Northern Ireland, The Lost City Golf Course in Sun City, South Africa, and Coeur D'Alene Resort and Golf Course in Idaho. "BBC voice of golf" Peter Alliss will provide the game's commentary.
The game will feature multiplayer support as well.
