Jingle bells, Batman well… he's actually leaving town on Christmas Eve for Justice League duty in Merry Little Batman. That leaves Bruce's son, Damian Wayne, to watch over Gotham City during the winter holiday.

　　The Joker jumps at the opportunity by trying to steal Christmas in the official trailer for Merry Little Batman, a new special arriving December 8 on Prime Video. The teaser for the animated movie is adorable and shows quite the cute relationship between Bruce and Damien. For instance, we see Bruce give Damien his first-ever utility belt as a present.

　　Merry Little Batman looks to at first see Damian try to hold down the fort while his dad is out of town against the Joker, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and other villains. But he will get to team up with his father--who's sporting a beard that sometimes has doughnut crumbs--by the end.

　　The animated special has a voice cast that includes Yonas Kibreab, Luke Wilson, James Cromwell, and David Hornsby. Merry Little Batman is directed by Regular Show writer Mike Roth.

　　Amazon picked up Merry Little Batman from Warner Bros. Animation and DC earlier this year, alongside a series called Bat-Family. Amazon also saved Batman: Caped Crusader after being canceled at Max.
