Sega is scheduled to unveil Space Channel 5 Part 2 at this week's Tokyo Game Show, and GameSpot has learned further details on the game. Ulala and her friends will return in the rhythm action game to fight against the Odoridan, which means "dancing squad" in Japanese. Ulala will now wear a white costume at the game's onset, but players will also have the ability to earn new items and costumes as the game progresses. Additionally, the game will feature a changing room where players can customize Ulala's costumes.
Space Channel 5 Part 2 is scheduled for a February 2002 release in Japan for both the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Sega Dreamcast. A North American release date has not been announced at this time.
