Long before Timothée Chalamet was leading the Fremen to freedom in Denis Villeneuve's Dune films, there was another movie set on the iconic desert planet. Directed by David Lynch (Mulholland Drive) and released in 1984, Dune was a strange sci-fi epic that had been in development for years before Lynch stepped into the director's chair. If you've ever wondered just how the adaptation of Frank Herbert's beloved novel came to be, then this new book that goes behind the scenes of the film sounds like a must-have for fans. Plus, the first edition has a gorgeous design that incentivizes preordering the book.
