Though it ended its television run more than a decade ago, Avatar: The Last Airbender is still going strong thanks to the graphic novels that continue Aang's story. Fans also have Netflix's live-action adaptation to look forward to, and hopefully it will fare much better than M. Night Shyamalan's much-derided The Last Airbender. 　　The Last Airbender takes place in a world split into four nations, each of which is represented by an element--earth, air, water, or fire. Select people in each nation can control the elements using a form of telekinetic martial arts. The series follows Aang, an airbender who also happens to be the Avatar, the lone reincarnated being who can master all four elements and is charged with keeping the peace between the four nations. Throughout the series, Aang sets out to master elemental manipulation across all four disciplines in order to stop the Fire Nation from wreaking havoc across the world.

　　The Last Airbender was followed up by the The Legend of Korra, which starred a female reincarnation of the Avatar. The Legend of Korra isn't on sale right now, but the Blu-ray collection containing both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra is currently discounted from $78 to $59.
