Pokemon Puzzle League is a single or two-player puzzle game that will ship to the N64 and Game Boy Color this fall, with the N64 version arriving first, on September 24, and the GBC version hitting stores November 20.
The Game Boy Advance will have a 32-bit microprocessor and will feature full connectivity to the Internet through cellular phones integrated inside the system, allowing users to download game software, play multiplayer games, send E-mail, and chat. Nintendo also said that the Game Boy Advance will feature a new digital camera accessory (not the existing Game Boy Camera) that will allow players to capture photos as well as see the faces of competing players during multiplayer games.
The Game Boy Advance, unfortunately, is not yet the handheld system to make the highly anticipated leap into featuring a backlit screen. Of the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo of America's president Minoru Arakawa said, "It's like you have your TV games in your hands." After delays, the system is now expected to ship in the US in 2001 and earlier in Japan this August. Nintendo did not discuss the Dolphin at the press conference and addressed all questions from the press with a polite "we're not saying anything at this time..." Nintendo representatives said the company would discuss the Dolphin and the Game Boy Advance in depth at the coming Spaceworld show in Japan.
