Nintendo names new marketing head-April 2024
Apr 29, 2025 11:38 AM

Last September, Nintendo of America confirmed the departure of its executive vice president of sales and marketing Cammie Dunaway. Today the Wii and 3DS maker appointed her replacement.

Nintendo's new marketing head will be Scott Moffitt, previously a senior vice president and general manager with Henkel Consumer Goods. During his five years at Henkel, Moffitt was responsible for the personal care division, handling brands like Right Guard and Dial, among others. Prior to that, he worked in a variety of positions at PepsiCo, handling products like SoBe and Mountain Dew.

Moffitt will report to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, who should keenly understand the challenges of the role. Before being appointed to his current position, Fils-Aime was himself the company's executive vice president of sales and marketing.

With Moffitt's appointment effective today, there's a chance the executive will make his public debut for Nintendo at next month's Electronic Entertainment Expo. During their stints in Moffitt's new role, both Dunaway and Fils-Aime were mainstays of Nintendo's E3 media briefings. This year's Nintendo E3 media briefing is set for June 7 at 9 a.m. Pacific time.
