This morning, Nintendo of America announced that its new Nintendo World store will open on Saturday, May 14. The store is the first of its kind and is located at Rockefeller Plaza in midtown Manhattan. The shop fills two floors, occupying a total of 10,000 square feet of floor space. Nintendo will host a "block party" on its opening day and will be giving away prizes to those in attendance. The facility will also play host to the Pokémon Trading Card Game League and will be the only sanctioned location for league play within Manhattan.
