A new Warhammer 40,000 "lane strategy game" called Storm of Vengeance is currently in development at NASCAR series developer Eutechnyx for PC and mobile devices. It will launch in the first half of 2014 through a deal with license holder Games Workshop.
Storm of Vengeance will tell the story of a "pivotal moment" in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, during the planetary conflict on Piscina IV. Warhammer characters Grand Master Belial and Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka will appear in the game.
Eutechnyx's upcoming Warhammer game is not the only new Warhammer title in development.
Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while a new smartphone and tablet game from the studio behind Family Guy Online is also in development. In addition, Slitherine is developing a turn-based strategy game set in the fantasy series, while Creative Assembly is working on multiple Warhammer titles.
