Halloween has come to a close, and we're getting closer and closer to the next holiday, Thanksgiving, as we move in to November. Since we're all sitting at home, watching a lot of streaming TV shows and movies, you'll probably be wondering what's coming to Netflix this upcoming week.
On Thursday, the Netflix original series Paranormal lands on the service. Set in 1969, the film follows a hematologist named Dr. Refaat Ismail. According to the Netflix synopsis, "Refaat is accompanied by his university colleague, Maggie, as they enter the paranormal world and try to save their loved ones from the immense danger that surrounds them." The show is based on the book by the same name, written by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. Check out the trailer below.
On November 1, a ton of movies and TV seasons dropped on the streaming service. Many of the movies are classics you may have seen before. Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange is already available. The film follows a gang leader (Malcom McDowell) who is imprisoned and put through conversion therapy in order to make him an outstanding citizen.
And because Christmas is right around the corner, Netflix is casually dropping more and more holiday movies. This week, Christmas Break-In, A Christmas Catch, Christmas With A Prince, and Operation Christmas Drop all arrive. So prepare yourself for family-friendly moments where people learn the true meaning of Christmas--being together on the holidays.
