Capcom has revealed on its official Web site that Resident Evil 0 for the GameCube will allow players to switch between the game's two characters--S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team member Rebecca Chambers and ex-navy officer Billy Cohen--in real time. In previous Resident Evil games, character switching happened automatically. Unfortunately, no details were released regarding the effect this feature will have on the puzzles and combat in the game. Resident Evil 0 will be shown at the upcoming E3 in Los Angeles.
An official release date for Resident Evil 0 has not been announced.
