Sony Online has released a new group of screenshots from its upcoming online action game, PlanetSide. The new screens show off some views of the detailed outdoor environments and the buggy vehicle that will be featured in the game. PlanetSide is currently in development at Verant, the studio that created the popular online role-playing game EverQuest. The futuristic game will take place on a series of continents, each containing 64 square kilometers of area. Players will assume the role of mercenaries who can advance through the ranks of different warring corporations.
