Infinium Labs has performed a major overhaul of its official site, which now includes new details on the Phantom system and the company's online service, Phantom.net. As previously noted, the Phantom will apparently come with a variety of games preloaded into the system and will give consumers an opportunity to download additional games. Since the system is essentially a PC, it will be able to play PC games and console games that have been ported to the PC platform.
The Phantom.net online service will let its users rent games, play games on demand, and play against other Phantom users or PC users. The service will require a monthly subscription fee that's scaled to meet the needs of its user. It will also play host to a various multiplayer gaming events.
Infinium Labs will reveal more about the Phantom at E3.
