New Paper Mario-Inspired RPG Born Of Bread Gets Big Launch Discount-April 2024
Apr 20, 2025 5:17 AM

The past few months have been filled with high-profile video game launches, but if you're looking for something off the beaten path, Born of Bread is a great option. This Paper Mario-inspired RPG takes place in a 2.5D world that's inhabited by adorable creatures, uses a unique turn-based combat system, and boasts vibrant, eye-catching graphics. The game just launched on December 5, but right now you can snag the PC version at Fanatical for just $18.74 (down from $25).

That price cut is better than the one offered directly through Steam, yet purchasing through Fanatical still gets you a Steam key. If you want to step up to the Baker edition (which includes a digital artbook and soundtrack), then consider purchasing directly through Steam, as it's on sale for $27.73.

If you own both a gaming PC and console, note that the standard PC version is much cheaper than the console versions offered on Switch, Xbox, and PS5--which are all the same price as the Baker edition on PC. In other words, this current deal at Fanatical is the cheapest way to get your hands on the quirky new game.

Here's a look at every version of Born of Bread up for grabs.
