SquareSoft has released new screenshots from Final Fantasy X for the Sony PlayStation 2. The screens highlight a variety of elements and scenes from the game, including the weapons customization menu and impressive FMV sequences, such as a wedding scene, real-time cutscenes, and the game's sphere grid system, among others. Final Fantasy X is currently available in Japan. At last count, the game had sold well more than 2 million units in that territory.
Although US localization work is already underway, the game won't be released in that region until early 2002.
