Since Sony completed its $380 million acquisition of Gaikai in July, little has been heard of the cloud-gaming company. Now, that has changed. Is Gaikai expanding its offerings?
Gaikai has launched a redesigned website that teases support for a range of franchises like God of War, Uncharted, Killzone, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, and LittleBigPlanet
Representatives from Sony and Gaikai were not immediately available for comment.
Established in 2008 in Aliso Viejo, California, by David Perry, Gaikai enables game streaming to a variety of devices via the Internet. As part of its acquisition announcement, Sony said combining Gaikai's technology with Sony's game platform will provide users an "unparalleled cloud entertainment experience."
