Just weeks after Assassin’s Creed III was officially announced, Ubisoft has taken the wraps off three premium editions of the game that will ship to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

　　Ubisoft's top-tier offer is called The Freedom Edition, and it will sell for A$129.95. Punters who pick up The Freedom Edition can expect to find an action figure, an art book, a faux notepad written by George Washington, a steel case for the game, and a lithograph. As for in-game content, The Freedom Edition includes two bonus single-player missions and the Sharpshooter multiplayer pack.

　　The Freedom Edition comes with enough items to weigh down even the fittest assassin. Lower on down the ladder at the A$109 mark is the Join or Die Assassin's Creed III bundle. This one comes with a medallion, a faux notepad written by George Washington, and a copy of the game. It also includes one bonus single-player mission and the Sharpshooter multiplayer pack.

　　There's also an Assassin's Creed III Special Edition that comes in a spiffy box and includes a bonus single-player mission. The Special Edition will retail for A$89.95, which is also the Australian recommended retail price for the standard version of the game.

　　Assassin's Creed III steps away from Europe and drops players into the middle of the American Revolution. While the game still features Desmond Miles, the historical portion follows Connor, who was dragged into the conflict after his parents were killed by white colonists.

　　Assassin's Creed III is slated for release on October 30 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. A Wii U version will also arrive further on down the line.
