This week GameSpot AU teamed up with Sony Computer Entertainment Australia to give 10 lucky readers and their friends the chance to try out the upcoming PlayStation 3 game ModNation Racers and then test their skills at an indoor go-kart track in Sydney.

　　After a quick video from the development team at United Front Games and a guided tour of the level and character customisation modes, it was time to see who had the goods on the road.

　　GameSpotters get comfortable for a quick virtual tour of the customisation features in ModNation Racers. Shortly after this photo was taken we made a driver out of bacon.

　　Class dismissed! Attendees get split into racing teams. Not a bad-looking bunch, are they?
