Now Playing: Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City - Exclusive Claire Redfield Vignette Trailer

"In our story, Claire Redfield is a runaway from Raccoon City," Roberts explains in the video. "She's runaway because she feels something was very wrong there. Now, she's coming back to tell her brother some very important information."

In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, a group of people in the titular Midwestern town, which was once home to the Umbrella Corporation, try to survive. Since Umbrella left, the city is a wasteland and filled with evil. The survivors must find out what happened in Raccoon City and take Umbrella to task in order to make things right.

The film stars Robbie Amell (Upload) as Chris Redield, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) as Jill Valentine, Neal McDonough (The Flash) as William Birkin, Avan Jogia (Zombieland) as Leon Kennedy, and Tom Hopper (Black Sails) as Albert Wesker. Roberts will write and direct the film.

Recently, a trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City was released for the upcoming November film, and it shows it's pretty faithful to the video game series. You can also check out our trailer breakdown as well.

There's also a Netflix live-action TV series coming in the near future. The show takes place in the future and follows the teenage daughters of Albert Wesker. So far, the only thing that's been released are photos of the cast.
