You've seen the BattleTanx commercial with the parody of the cute Snuggles bear, as well as the current spots for Army Men 3D. Judging by how frequently these ads have been airing and their overall quality, 3DO is spending some serious bucks to make sure people know about its games.
Recently, 3DO was taping its latest commercial at the home of the San Francisco Giants, 3Com park, and we were there to snap some behind-the-scenes shots.
There were many variations being taped, so it's hard to say exactly which one will air, but all of them seemed pretty funny, with a bunch of fake mascots going off at a press conference. There was one in particular who wore a big baseball on his head and sounded exactly like Jack from the Jack in the Box commercials. Unfortunately, the mascot's voices will be professionally dubbed over by other actors so there goes that.
