Midway games has set up shop on the Web for its upcoming racing game with the launch of the L.A. Rush official Web site. Interested gamers can see information on everything from various locations in the game to the West Coast Customs crew, all backed by beats from the game's soundtrack.
The re-created Los Angeles in L.A. Rush contains more than 350 miles of the city's streets and freeways. The game's storyline follows an already-successful street racer who finds his extensive collection of rides stolen by his rival. Players go from race to race around the city to win back the pilfered cars. The game also includes a quick race split-screen multiplayer mode for two players.
L.A. Rush will ship for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 on October 10 with an MSRP of $49.99. A PC version will be released in November. Take a look at GameSpot's recent preview for more information on the game.
