Konami Bringing Gamers What They Want at E3
Konami Bringing Gamers What They Want at E3-April 2024
Apr 23, 2025 5:18 PM

If you frequented the video-game-related usenet newsgroups in the past six months, you know that there has been a heavy fan-based drive for Konami to begin releasing its star Japanese titles.

Konami listened, first releasing Suikoden and then Vandal Hearts - both of which enjoyed success in the US. This fall, Konami brings PlayStation owners Castlevania X: Symphony of the Night and just recently unveiled plans for the rest of its E3 lineup.

Nintendo 64 gamers will get seven titles from Konami, six of which are known, and one title is secret - it is thought to be a 64-bit version of one of Konami's signature titles.

International Superstar Soccer 64 and Legend of the Mystical Ninja 64 will both be playable at the show. On tape, Konami will show Castlevania 64, Battle Dancers, NBA In The Zone '98 (also scheduled for the PlayStation), and Nagano Winter Olympics.

PlayStation owners will get a glimpse of both Salamander Deluxe Pack and Suikoden 2, among others. Konami will not show any titles for the Saturn.
