  Joytech is a new 3rd party manufacturer to the US market. After featuring a number portable and console accessories, as well as a number of home entertainment crossover devices, this Take2 owned manufacture is starting to make a push into the US market. Their E3 showing builds on their selection of portable console monitors by adding the largest PS2 display on the market, as well as a new AV control center.

  Joytech is trying to create a name for itself as a higher end accessory manufacturer, and already features a number of LCD monitors for the Xbox and PS2. Surprisingly, no game pads or wheels are on show this year, instead Joytech is looking to push into the growing home entertainment accessory market with its control center, and to compete against the Pelican GameGlass with its LCD mobile monitor for the slimline PS2.

Joytech 8-inch LCD Monitor for PS2 Slimline

  The 8-inch Digital LCD Monitor is the largest LCD mobile monitor available for the PS2. Designed to allow users the ability to play games or watch movies anywhere, this new monitor is designed to work with the PS2 slimline. The monitor comes with a car adapter, and has two built in speakers, as well as headphone jacks. The integrated AV inputs allow the monitor to work with external sources as well. This all black slim screen is moderate priced however, coming in at a MSRP of $149.99.

  

AV Control Center 2

  The AV Control Center 2 is a control box that features a Signal Regulator and can take up to 6 AV inputs. The device comes with a remote, and allows for easy switching amongst many different types of home entertainment, allowing you to hook up all your consoles, you DVD player, and still have room for any other devices you want to use. the device can take up to 6 HD capable inpurts, either component or S-Video, and outputs with either S-Video, component, or composite, as well as featuring a optical sound port to insure high end stereo sound. The box itself has a programmable LCD display and comes in either black or silver. While not target to the casual gamer, this device has both a functionality for the HD aficionado, as well as the gamer whose collection can seem to overwhelm the most capable of TV's. The AV control Center 2 comes with a MSRP of $89.99.
