It seems WWE superstar, John Cena (Blockers, Bumblebee), is joining Vin Diesel (The Fate of the Furious, XXX: Return of Xander Cage) and Tyrese Gibson (The Fate of the Furious, Transformers: Dark of the Moon) on the big screen.

　　On Instagram, Diesel posted a video announcing that Pablo (Diesel's affectionate name for Paul Walker, who tragically died in a car crash in 2013) "up there sends me someone, another soldier in the fight for truth." Before the video concludes, Diesel walks Cena into the frame, who then makes his signature "You Can't See Me" hand gesture and winks.

　　Earlier this year, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (The Fate of the Furious) confirmed he's sitting out of the forthcoming Fast and the Furious installment. However, he did state that, because "there's unfinished business between Hobbs and Dom," he may return for another movie. In the meantime, Johnson is starring alongside Jason Statham (The Fate of the Furious, The Meg) in Fast and the Furious spin-off, Hobbs & Shaw, which is scheduled to release on August 2.

　　Director Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Star Trek Beyond) is returning to direct both Fast 9 and Fast 10, which have a May 22, 2020 and April 2, 2021 release date respectively.
