By way of s.163.com, Jin Air Green Wings Team has been leasing their tame tyrant to Evil Geniuses since late last year. On November 30th, however, Jaedong's contractual obligation to EG expired, placing him back in Jin Air's hands. Here's the interesting part: KeSPA had been negotiating his release from Jin Air since August, and he's now free to roam where he pleases.
The release was phrased under the guise of willingly respecting Jaedong's wishes. That said, there seem to be murmurs of misleading language regarding the details of the relationship. Perhaps Jin Air is attempting to save face with his departure? Is he poised to sign something a tad more direct with EG? Or is he going to wander off to greener pastures? Has the exact nature of Jin Air's claim to him been lost in translation, as some seem to believe? Only time will tell.
