Interactive Magic says it plans to launch a United Kingdom server for its IMagic Online gaming site later this month. IMagic made the announcement at the ECTS show and indicated that it was but one of "several aggressive plans to expand IMagic's presence into Europe."
Until the UK server goes live, European players are logging onto the IMagic site through the company's server in Grapevine, Texas.
This isn't the company's first foray into European online gaming; IMagic Online has also partnered with German company NetPlayer in an agreement that will see IMagic Online games such as WarBirds and Dawn of Aces available through Deutsche Telekom, Germany's largest telephone service provider.
