WarnerMedia and iHeartMedia announced a new partnership recently to co-produce "a slate of companion podcasts for HBO Max's upcoming catalog of original and legacy shows."
According to a press release from WarnerMedia, the first two projects will tie in with Search Party--a darkly humorous thriller series starring Alia Shawkat--and Raised by Wolves, an as yet unseen Ridley Scott directed and produced sci-fi drama about two androids trying to raise humans on "a mysterious new planet."

Now Playing: Best Shows And Movies To Stream For June 2020 - Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Shudder
This move continues the podcast groundwork HBO laid this past year with series like Chernobyl, Watchmen, and McMillions. But where those three podcasts were non-fiction and heavily tied to the show's they supported, it's not yet clear what genre the iHeartMedia collaborations will fit into, aside from the clue in their description as "standalone productions."
This partnership comes hot on the heels of a partnership between WarnerMedia division Warner Bros. and Spotify for a number of DC Universe podcasts, which was announced on June 18.
And speaking of podcasts, GameSpot entertainment has a few of its own. You can check out the TV and movie-focused show You Should Be Watching over on GameSpot Universe or listen to audio versions on Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play, and Apple Podcasts. There is also the comedic wrestling podcast Wrestle Buddies on Spotify, Stitcher, and Apple Podcasts.
