Gathering of Developers isn't about to let its first Christmas season as a full-fledged publisher go by without any action, so it's announced that they're releasing a Yuletide-themed version of Epic MegaGames' Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Holiday Hare - which will feature levels from JJ2 along with special Christmas-themed levels and characters, and retail for US$9.95.
A Jazz Jackrabbit 2 "beany" plush toy will soon find a spot on select Electronic Boutique stores shelves as well.
Epic and the Gathering also announced that they plan to port the game to Macintosh. Well, Logicware will be doing the porting, but g.o.d. and Logicware will co-publish the Mac version later this year. The Gathering is also negotiating with Take 2 Interactive, its European publishing partner, to publish a Nintendo Color Game Boy version of the game in early 1999.
