Miller Freeman announced GAMEXecutive, a two-day trade conference for those involved in the business side of the electronic entertainment business, to be held March 15-16 in San Jose, the same time that the Game Developers Conference Expo (slotted for March 16-18) will be going on in San Jose.
The speakers at the conference will include Ed Roth of NPD (speaking on Sell Through Figures on Consoles, PCs, Software and Hardware), Anya Sacharow of Jupiter Communications (on Selling, Distributing and Marketing Online Games to the Consumer), Robert Fagin of CIBC Oppenheimer (on Entertainment Software Companies), Peter Glaskowsky of MicroDesign Resources (on 3D Graphics Technologies), and Kevin Hause of IDC Research (on Online, Sub-$1000 and Consumer Appliances).
Ron Chaimowitz of GT Interactive and Doug Lowenstein, chairman of the Interactive Digital Software Association, will be the keynote speakers for the event.
